PCHRI is a non-profit organization consisting of therapists, registered nurses, peer support specialists, and community members who have come together to fight the opioid and overdose epidemic by providing a unique style of practice to the West Central Florida communities.
Breaking new grounds, we have hit the streets and brought our office to the field to reach PWUD (people who use drugs) and those who would otherwise not have availability to services like ours. By meeting people where they are, our hope is to provide the necessary tools for good health and survival - because everyone deserves respect and safety.
Our mission is to provide de-stigmatized, empathetic and innovative services to people who use drugs within our community by empowering individuals through grassroots street outreach, program engagement, advocacy for better health, strategic trauma implementation, and providing opioid overdose medication and education.
Our vision is for this community to be one where barriers no longer exist and systemic issues have dissipated for people who use drugs.
